Orange, yeah.

Alright you lovelies.

Orange. Why not?

It's time to reconnect with that orange obsession you had when you were about eight (no? just us?...we won't tell you about the orange jeans then)

We prefer these two beautiful catwalk looks.

Have just ordered these from ye olde Topshop:

As can't possibly afford, nor justify, this:

Eternal Sunshine of Ms. Winslet

So, we're going to ignore the Christmas blip and get right on.

The February issues are already upon us. Kate is DEVINE. Fact.
...and not the Moss one. No, the titanic one:

The shoot wasn't amazing as such, but we love 'er so we won't dwell on it. More exciting is the reason she's in there.

Cannot. Wait.

Paris-Moscou

BOLLOCKS.

Completely forgot to put this in the last post:

Chanel's annual Metiers D'Art show 2008
The event also played host to KL's short film that depicted the early life of Coco herself.

This was not the cool bit.

Staff circa now were used as characters in the film.

NICE.

Miss you, Love you.

P.S. This post is dedicated to the Boyfriend, who, if I could afford it, would most definitely be walking around in one of the coats posted above.

Consider Our Bottoms Smacked.

Alright Gorgeous,

We know, it's been far too long, so excuse us while we bend over and graciously accept your firm hand.

Right, that's sorted. Back to the ol' fashion.

First of all, if you haven't already experienced the wonder of FakeKarl, then you are either stupid or incredibly demode. (see: Louis Vuitton monogrammed leather)

On the subject of President Lagerfeld, whoever came up with this is clearly a genius:

Karl x Britney - Who doesn't love it?

Anyway, moving on. We are well into RUSSIA at the moment, check it out:

Cool Old Stuff...

Always got love for Natalia...she's our favouritest UK-based Russian beauty.

For Russian Vogue's 10th Anniversary shindig, 31 major designers were asked to design a Russian doll, or matryoshka, to be sold at auction amongst a sea of Chanel Kubrick bears and Jean Paul Gaultier rocking horses. They were predictably awesome in their beautiful uselessness:

Ralph Lauren. Moschino. Margiela. Yves Saint Laurent.

We could go on and on and on about how rad Russia is, but we'll leave it at that.

We heart you Russia.

Miss you, Love you.

LIKE SOME BOYS

Hello people of impeccable taste,

Something tres exciting is happening this Thursday.

The Comme des Garcons x H&M collection hits stores worldwide.

Yes, we are all very excited, especially Monteith, who is attending the pre-launch viewing at the Regent St. store on Wednesday evening. (Hosted by Vogue and GQ for readers). She will be purchasing the £70 dress she's been harping on about for weeks. Bank account willing.

This is the dress everyone else is after:

We guess it's the natural choice for Kawakubo fans, it has the essence of Comme, but at £200 it's a tad pricey; I mean if I'm gonna spend two hundred quid on Comme, it ain't gonna be carried out in an H&M bag, right? Not when you can pop on over to Dover Street Market.

Still, nice though ain't it?

Anyway, back to the collection. We like it. There's enough signature Comme features to please; wool suits, polka dots and disjointed tailoring galore. But is it for the average H&M customer?

Hmm the thing is, the previous collaborations - Lagerfeld, McCartney, Cavalli et al - have all had very mainstream aesthetics (think Cavalli's leopard print maxi) and subsequently sold like hot cakes. Will it be the same for Kawakubo's collection? Outside the Fash Pack and design students, how many 'normals' (as we affectionately call them) know Comme des Garcons? And, more importantly, will they appreciate the design genius of it?

Of course it'll sell out. It's Comme for fuck sake. LCF students'll be tearing each others lumberjack shirts off to get their hands on the stuff. But that kind of defeats the object of the 'collaboration' and bringing the brand to the masses, no? Our group of 'normals' don't give a shit about 'that Ray kawoookub woman', despite our insistance and admirable efforts of persuasion.

Ahh...who cares. The polka dot cardigans will sell at least.

GIVE IT TO US!

Love you, Miss you.

P.s: YES PLEASE SANTA........
(they're only £975, but you're elves can fix
them right up for me, can't they? I've been
good, I promise.)

Christian Louboutin - bit bored of rred underheel now, but worth it for the heel height - ain't gonna find them on the highstreet....

So. We'll all be wearing our Jimmy Jam bottoms by Spring then, will we? Hmmm...
