The Joys of Autumn/Winter.

Well. It's got fucking cold hasn't it?

Not that we're complaining. A/W is clearly the chicer of the seasons. And it is our belief that there is one particular reason for this:

Black suits everyone. Yes, this is a very archaic ethos, but the fact is, if a few more people wore black, or even just a darker palette altogether, the world would be a lot sleeker place.

Jesus, I know (0f) a few individuals in love with colours that match the saturation of their FakeBake; and frankly I would be very grateful of a splash of black here and there. For the sake of my judgmental eyes, at least. And this season, it seems, the powers that be have granted us freedom from the guilt of wearing head-to-toe black. Winner.

So PURRRLEASE go and purchase your leather biker jackets, your PVC leggings, your kohl liner, your Jaeger capes - And if you simply must have colour, make it of the dark jewel variety - the deepest purple, rouge noir, emerald green, cobalt blue, whatever. Cease that inner goth, take her to one side and inform her that it's her chance to shine; she knows it's what she's always wanted, none of this 'I'm different, leave me alone to worship *shitemoband* in peace', beause this simply will not do.
Note to reader: Please, if practicing HTT black, mix up the textures/fabrics, you might end up looking cheap, or worse: unknowing.

Anyhoos. Back to the weather. It's cold. This is a good thing because we get to lust after things what are very sexual indeed:

Hi. Our name is Circus and we are Moschino addicts. We have been clean for too long.

Love the embellishment on the shoulders of the dark grey peacoat, and equally the ruffled panelling and velvet trim on the gorgeous blue coat.

Rossella Jardini, we heart you very much.

PS. Check out the orgasm-inducing boots.

Our other A/W crush is on Rick Owens. Notably, this very-close-to-two-grand-but-woth-every-penny coat:

We also very much like the leather chaps that it was paired with for the runway show, and were seen on Jourdan Dunn in the September issue of i-D, but fear the the how's and where's of wearing them:

Super-Godlike rock chick-ness. We rest our case (CR with opening paragraphs)

And speaking of:

One can never have too many pairs of black leather biker boots. These ones, by the ever-wonderful Miu Miu are on Net-a-porter and are £540, but look at them. Just look at them. For those inclined they have some gorgeous patent flat boots too, at £355.

Hmm we want these boots so much. It shall test the boyfriend.
One very special word:

CHRISTMAS.

We're bad with goodbyes, so we will end this post with some Margiela inspiration...

Love you, Miss you.

CHARLES ANASTASE SPRING/SUMMER 2009 COLLECTION: BETTER THAN YOU MUM BY APPROXIMATELY 57%

How much do we love Charles Anastase? LOTS is the answer - just look at his S/S 09 collection (above). We LOVES it. The cuteness and the sexiness. The sheer fabric, which despite seeming a manifestation of S/S08's trend (Jil Sander et al), still looks fresh and has the peekaboo suspenders/stockings thing going on adding edge and a sexy twist. Loving that cropped leather jackets are still gonna be going strong. LOVE the long hair; bobs are bor-ing. In fact the only thing we didn't like was the oversized geek glasses - way too scene-wannabe. Nice glasses are a privilege for those with bad eyesight, kind of like a 'sorry you can't see and got bullied at school for them horrible glasses your mum made you wear' consolation prize. So hands off our consolation prize, we earned it. Anyway apart from that, top marks Charlie.

Blackjack, minxes and a GSOH.

Alright dollface.

Before I say anything, have a look at this novel little sod:

Of course we would pay a mere £15 for Dame Viv's playing cards. Yeah, it's pure novelty value, but fuck it, if you can have Westwood cards, why would you put up with a pack from Toys'R' Us? Plus your friends will like you more for being their cooler, more frivolous counterpart. Everybody wins.

Anyways we should probably explain what this blog stands for.
Firstly, we loves the fashion. We like it in the good way. Not in the "Omigod I wanna look like - insert shit 'fashion icon' here - because she always looks so good in my weekly Heat magazine." No. What we are about is something much better. We like things that are truly brilliant. The circus that is fashion.
Secondly, we aim to entertain (a sense of humor is required). This is not to be confused with mocking the industry, hopefully you are intelligent enough to decipher between the two.
Thirdly, there is no thirdly - bored of explaining. Introductions are the hardest bit to write. Just stay tuned you gorgeous little minx.

Love you, Miss you.

P.S: 'We' refers to me, and really should be replaced with 'I', but I hate typing 'I' this and 'me' that, eugh I'm already cringing and annoying myself - see? No fun is it? So we shall continue thusly...
